After being drafted into the NBA after his sophomore year, he returned to Indiana University during the summers and took correspondence courses to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in sociology. In May of this year, he will be adding to his resume a master’s degree from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Education, with an emphasis in the Cultural Study of Sport and Education.
