On the the death of civil rights activist, The Rev. Willie T. Barrow

Today, Chicago has lost an icon in the fight for civil and equal rights. The Rev. Willie T. Barrow, known across this country as the ‘Little Warrior’ was a noted author, preacher, activist and civil rights leader who made significant accomplishments in improving the lives of the residents of Chicago and across the country.
Her leadership paved the way for many politicians, community and civil rights leaders.
On behalf of the Mary’s Court Foundation, we celebrate the life and great legacy of this phenomenal woman who passed on her love, passion and courage to generations of men and women. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time.
